Title: How much would you pay ?
Post by: airspuds on September 15, 2007, 09:17:12 AM
i found a  11x KC PRO  TEEBIRD disc golf disc  at lombard years ago
and i think its a great driver for me

it now is beat up enough that it is actually flying stable for ME

since i only have one of these  - do I buy a new one  for 32 bucks or do i buy a couple newer manufactured discs  for around the same money

IMO, if you want something straight stable then pick up a TL. I'm sure the 11x started out slightly overstable right? I have thrown alot of different teebirds and I don't find the 11x's any different then the current runs of champ teebirds. The plastic feels a little nicer but flight wise they don't seem much different. If you are going to get a newer champ teebird they are going to run a little more stable then what the old reliable has beaten in to. TL's might be the way to go.

If I were you I'd consider the TL but also test fly both the ESP XL and the ESP Tracker.  If you get Discraft ESP at IOS events you can save $6 off the suggested retail on Star.

Don't get hooked on Pro TLs.  Innova is running out of pro plastic and they don't think they'll be able to find any more of the stuff.
