I saw the paper & was gonna post about it also, but it IS a 9-holer. More baskets in the ground = good. Cementing IL as the land of the 9-holer = not so good.

Steve O designed it. Is i in the ground? If so, I might have to stop by it after work.

Went there to see if it was in the ground, it's not.  But they do have two flags and some spray paint for the tees and one flag for the tee, all marked with marker on the flag.  Tee 3 is missing it's flag ad I didn't find it until I was done.  Its up the hill to the right of hole 2.  I think a good hole for 3 would be if you walked past hole three there is a little tunnel with some 2m high bushes, looks really cool.  Overall I would say it's a decent course for the land.  one of those good 9 holer a GREAT 4-5 holer haha.  Some decent shots to be had and you really would need a medium to long midrange.  Will still be 1 million times better then o'brien.  Then again a parking lot is a close second behind O'brien.  It looks like there are some other areas they want to put some holes, probably not multi-hole placements, the way it looks is, where steve-o wants a hole and where the district wants a hole.
