I have been contacted by the PDGA to attend a conference in Copper, CO at Copper Mtn resort. I've been there before and it's sweet! Basically, the event features about 30 Convention and Visitors Bureau's from Illinois in a trade show setting. I cannot attend due to my basketball schedule. Below is a link with times & dates. Someone capable is needed to promote disc golf in Illinois. Some expenses are paid. Please contact me if you are interested.

wow, that sounds like it would be something very cool. Unfortunately I don't think I have enough vacation days left to go! It's in intriguing way to promote disc golf. I wonder how much stuff you need to bring along to give away. Set up a skillshot in the trade show booth and encourage people to make a putt. Make the putt and keep the disc :)
wow, if I wasn't changing jobs I'd try to be there.
LOL, Copper Mountain in December. Disc Golf on Skis!
Brett, what type of promoting are you looking for? More of an informational approach, maybe a hands-on approach? What would be the attnedee's responsibilites?
I think I have someone but it will be the purposes of selling disc golf to Convention and Visitors Bureau's from Illinois. Educating them on events and what disc golf is. Hopefully getting added cash for events, etc..
Brett- I live out in CO now. Maybe I can help being how I am an Illinois and am also part of the CO clubs. Mile High and NOCO. Let me know if there is anything I can do.
