Happy Thanksgiving everyone!!! We had Thanksgiving dinner with my parents at "The Home" as they call it. I am thankful that my Mom was able to come "home" after her stroke on July 7th. She was able to come home just two weeks ago so it was nice to be able sit down to Thanksgiving dinner with her and my Dad together. My Mom still can't eat anything (she has a paralyzed vocal cord) but she can now drink small amounts of liquids. So while we had dinner she had a half a cup of coffee...which sounds a little sad but she was very happy!
Hope everyone had too much turkey and fell asleep on the couch watching football!
