Title: Arizona
Post by: dzwiss on December 22, 2007, 06:09:23 AM
Will be heading for Arizona right after Christmas and plan to play a few rounds in Tucson and the Phoenix area before heading into the desert for some boondocking.  Any feedback on Tucson and Phoenix courses would be welcome.

Vista Del Camino is the best course in the Phoenix area.

Thanks Dan, I marked it on my mapping program and will check it out.  Emerald Park also sounds kinda OK.

The last time I was in AZ Phoenix was 106 degrees so we didn't play there. We waited until we got to Flagstaff where it was cooler than Chicago. But I say if you can play in short sleeves this time of year then any course is a good course!  ;D

Back from Arizona trip (bummer :().  Played in Sweetwater, TX, El Paso, TX, two in Phoenix area, both nice coruses (Concido Park and Emerald Park),  but the best, four days ago in shirtsleeves was Cedar Glades in Hot Springs, AR, very hilly and wooded.

Now back to winter
