Time to go racin biznatchels! Daytona just 2 days away. Kurt Busch starting 43rd. Solid! Newman is starting 7th though and Hornish 19th.
Penske cars should start alot stronger this year. The Dodge looked much stronger at the end of last year than at the start. Hopefully the 3 car operation will help the team. Kurt Busch had alot of bad luck last year. He had the best car atleast 3 or 4 times that he ended up having some mechanical issue or getting caught up in something.
My prediction for who makes the Chase:
1. JJ
2. Gordon
3. Jr.
4. Kenseth
5. Edwards
6. Kurt Busch
7. Harvick
8. Burton
9. Biffle
10. Hamlin
11. Mears
12. Newman
pretty good predictions but i dont agree with mears and newman. replace those two with Kahne and treux... Im a big bobby labonte fan sense the late 90's he rolls off 13th so hopefully he does something this year...

:o Hamlin but no Stewart or Kyle Busch? If the Toyota thing does not go Chernobyl on them, I'd look for the 20 and 18 car to make it before the 11.
Oh, well. I've stopped watching these guys drive cookie-cutter cars around in circles. NASCAR has pushed me over the edge with stock cars that are not stock, boring 1.5 mile ovals with luxury suites replacing great tracks like Rockingham and North Wilksborough where you actually had to
RACE to win, traditions thrown aside in a grab for more money (see Southern 500), cautions for nothing other than Junior about to go a lap down, races decided on pit road instead of the track, drivers barely old enough to shave that get seats based more on how they can sell the sponsors product than how they can drive a car and their contrived, made-for-TV championship chase. Boogity-boogity...who cares anymore?
oh i didnt even see that stewert wasnt in there, he will make it for sure... Ya that racing has changed alot over the years. I remember going to my first race when i was 6 and it seems every year the sport changes. 23 races later the cars, drivers, rules, almost everything has changes. But one thing hasnt changed if you go to a race and camp the experience will never leave you... One big party its a blast... Chicagoland is sat under the lights this year cant wait....

Team Penske 1-2 baby! Hell yeah!
KB bringing home an awesome 2nd after startign 43rd. Glad to see Newman break his dry spell and get back in the winners circle and Jr. get knocked back at the end.
Pretty good race today. Wish those late cautions would not have come but that's plate racing for ya. Now that Rudd is retired i've decided i'm rooting for the field vs Hendrick and not one particular drive since I don't like most of them anyway. I'll be at MIS in June for some great racing.
