Some of you got screw drivers for prizes a couple of years ago. And then there was that time that Spike got a hip flask. The odd merch this year looks like it is going to be Swiss Army knives. They confiscate these by the dozens every day at the airport and the airport auctions them off. I bidded on a big lot and I was the only bidder.
I got red knives, silver knives, knives with lots of blades and tools, pretty little knives for the ladies. We're picking them up tomorrow morning on the way to Wisconsin.
Ok, this wins the wacky idea of the month award. Novel approach, Bruce. I guess with a hx including screw drivers as prizes, this at least makes sense. Good luck with your event.
Joe
Rock on, Bruce.
One can never have enough tools around. Perhaps that explains my choice of drinking companions.
I actually would like to check them out.
This also reminds me of a tournament. I cannot remember who it was but they cut their putter in half after a bad round.
that's extreme.
Leave it to Bruce to come up with a wacky idea that's better than sunglasses 8)

I've also seen a guy bend his putter completely in half, throw it on the ground, and leave it after the 1st round of a tourney....... ;D

There is a certain Gateway Team member that is known to rip his putters in half.
Nice work with the knives, Bruuuuce.

I heard about Roger doing that once. If that is who you are talking about, that wouldn't even make his top 25 unsportsmanlike moments on a disc golf course.
The knives went pretty fast for $30, $20 and $15 Victorinox knives priced at 8, 5, and 3 Brass each! :o ;D
We have a few left. We'll watch auctions for more.
i think the person who cut that putter in half was better off for doing so because that thing was a POS and still always seemed to find its way back into that person's bag.
