Clubless: The Legend of Victor Montango is having it's World Premiere at Gurnee Mills Marcus Cinema on May 31st at 11pm!
ES Productions and Innova teamed together last summer to create this new disc golf comedy. We shot at Adler Park in Libertyville as well as UW Parkside. If you would like to check out the trailer for the film, it's available at here at www.enoughstupid.com (http://www.enoughstupid.com) .
Tickets are also on sale for the event through our website as well! The next 50 people that order tickets that are also members of this forum, will have the chance to get a limited edition Clubless Innova Valkyrie or Leopard at half price at the event (That's only $5!) Just send me an email at james@enoughstupid.com after you've made your purchase, and you'll be all set to pick up your disc that night!
As a local independent film company we rely on your support, so please come out and see the film, it's going to be a great event! Post party to follow! Thanks in advance and we can't wait to see you all there!!
I think people that do take disc golf seriously would have mixed feelings about this, at least I do and I will not be wasting my money to see this.
HA! Nice Schimo.
My feelings aren't really that mixed if you are looking for an objective review from a seasoned movie watcher.
This movie looks like its probably funny to the people who made it.....and only the people who made it. How much did you have to give Gurnee Mills to have them play this?
Good luck on making your money back. I'm sure you meant well with the movie and tried your best. I would go see it, but May 31st is a laundry night for me.
Two observations:
It is grimly ironic that the first movie about disc golf is not actually about disc golf.
If your movie is a comedy, you should put the funny parts in the trailer.
[Edit] Maybe this thread logically should have been started as a post in this thread: http://discontinuum.org/index.php?option=com_smf&Itemid=26&topic=3866.0 (http://discontinuum.org/index.php?option=com_smf&Itemid=26&topic=3866.0)[/edit]
It looks like someone watched Dodgeball and just changed the sport.
I appreciate any and all feedback given, we are just a bunch of guys that love disc golf and wanted to make a film about our favorite sport. I really hope that some of you will be able to come and check it out next Saturday night, and reserve judgement until you've actually seen the film! We'll also be out at Adler Park on Memorial Day promoting the film, so stop by and get a free disc! Thanks again!

You should come out on Tuesday. It's league night and they get about 40 players

I think it looks hilarious, but, admittedly, I don't take disk golf seriously.

I think Jack was being sarcastic, I'm pretty sure he takes it seriously
Thanks to everyone who came out to the premiere last weekend and made the night an incredible success! Here is a link to a review of the film from Dorkgasm.com (who mercilessly ripped our first film)!
