Title: Lost at Lombard (Madison Meadows)
Post by: tacimala on May 16, 2008, 05:49:14 PM
I hit a branch and flipped a neon green FLX buzzz (w/ name, number and ace on it :() into the pond on hole 3 about 20 feet to the right of the willow trees. Would really like to see this one back, so Jason get out there and help me out! Also a buddy of mine threw a green z surge itno the pond on hole 19 about 10-15 feet in near the path. I'll throw some cash or plastic to anyone that is able to get in there.

If you're looking over by 19 and find a yellow pro wraith with a loon on it, I'll give you a few bucks for it.  I threw it and the wind just manhandled it into the pond.  It made sure to go through the trees and not hit a thing haha.

I lost a star teebird on hole 3 dinked off the tree into the water maybe 10 ft in.  It's orange and has my name on the back starting to faint though.  If anyone comes across it that would be great.

Since someone's going fishing and everybody is chiming in, I guess I'll throw in a request for a neon green champ Beast that I flipped into the wind a few weeks ago. Here's a nice little graphic for you: http://www.notroman.com/tmp/beastfail.jpg

At least I think that's the area it dropped in.

Well, my Beast had my name and number on the inside of the rim. So if there's no markings then it's probably not mine. unless that water is acidic and can dissolve sharpie writing in a few weeks time ;)

i was literally out in that area today, there was a guy painting lines for the baseball field.  I didn't see anything in the area that I walked in, probably not encouraging for finding it.  They were probably doing more work to the field other than just the painting too.

I'm not a pond walker, especially at Mad. Meadows because I value my good health, but tonight I lost a White Starfire with a Des Moines stamp on it on 19. It splashed in somewhere right in front of that big willow tree. I would love to have this one back if someone finds it :( name # on the back.

lost a lime green FLX Surge today on Hole 12 about halfway to the pin on the near right side of the fairway this morning.  the best part is I don't believe it has my name on it.  it does have Matt Diminick's name and number on it.  i bought ten discs off him off ebay when i first started playing last year, played a round with it, and then put it in a tote in my closet until i developed enough power for it.  i haven't developed enough power yet, but i managed to throw it far enough to lose it.  don't have high expectations, but if someone kicks it up in the snow, i would be very appreciative if it made its way back.

i wanted to thank whomever turned my flx surge as well as my snap helios on Saturday morning at the abominable tourney.  i got about three hours of sleep because of working until 3am before heading out and wasn't feel very socialable early.  but since i cannot remember your name, it makes me think i didn't ask, which makes me think i could have came off douche-tastic.  and if i did, i apoligize.

but all sincerity thanks.  that's two of 14 lost that have made it back.  i truely appreciate it.

also,  I found a star cro that belongs to Eric Bassett #26199....i would like to get it back to him. if anyone knows who he is please have him reach out to me.  thanks.

I texted Eric this morning regarding the post here about his lost disc. I think I got him in trouble because he was texting underneath his desk at high school.  oops....
I'll get him in touch with you about his found disc. Thanks for hanging on to it for him.
Yes, I am Uncle Jim to Eric.
