Title: Perry Championship Course--Visalia, CA
Post by: Kevin Cunningham on June 16, 2008, 08:55:43 PM
Played the course in my hometown for the first time in a year.  Shot +1 after struggling on the first few holes.  My little brother hit his first ace on the short but tough (tree in front and ob directly behind and to the left of the basket) hole 15.  He hasn't played in almost a year and of course he's the one who gets one.  I still haven't hit one and I play like once a week.  Unbelievable.  Still beat him though despite the ace.

Nice course with pretty good variety, but real hot and flat and dry.  Bring lots of water.  There's a tougher in terms of length 18 hole course in the same park on the back side called Perry Outback which I still have not played  I'll be out there before the end of the week for sure.

If you are ever in the Cenral Valley of California stop off in Visalia.  3 courses within about 5 miles of each other two in the same park and good downtown with some nice restaurants, bars, etc.
