Post by: papparoc on August 25, 2008, 07:07:07 AM
Roger has already raised more cash than last year for this event. He will even have a larger payout than last year. He is installing 2 more perminant baskets in the woods behind hole 15. He wants to have 27 holes in the future.
Camping on the course
Showers
This year he has $500 for the womens open division- 3 player minimum

The next day 9/28/08 the K-9 Carnival C-tier will be held in Burlington IA

Open- $55 -$1500 added cash
Open Masters- $35 - $500 added cash
Open Women - $30 - $500 added cash

Amateur (adv,int, nov.) -$30

Juniors - $20

Ace race on Friday with a bon fire afterwards.

Camping at the course $10 a night

I had a ton of fun last year and am excited to go this year.  The course is an interesting and challenging course and they've added more permanent holes to the course.  Should be a great time.

Pre registered yesterday. I live 5 minutes from McNaughton Park in Pekin, and its TUFF TUFF TUFF. Hamilton is 350 feet farther than McNaughton???? WOW, can't wait to see the course on Friday.

It is a fun course and I can't wait to see where they added the extra holes.  A great tournament.  Definitely up there on my list. I'm camping out again this year with my friend, $10 a night, can't beat that.  Last year I camped right next to the fairway of 2 a great chance to watch the pros throw.

I pre-reg'd cause they sent me a letter because I played last year and in it was a pre-reg form to mail in with a check. I have a buddy going with me who is going to register the day of. We are camping fri. and sat.  It's a fun tournament, I highly recommend going to anyone on the fence.

AWESOME!
Could you have Roger e-mail me @ president@discontinuum.org with that date they have set? I need to get that on the calendar so there are no conflicts.

We are waiting for the date on the Womans National to be set before we can make the dicision. I think it would be great the same weekend but the PDGA says no.

I literally laughed when I read that, sometimes the PDGA seems so backward to me. LPDGA?  ::)
