This new 18 hole park is just west of Port Washington. Take the "I" to 33 and go west thru Saukville to Cty "O" and take a right for 3 miles, the park is on the left. This park reminds me of an old Parkside with some elevation. Chips for teepads and 2 holes have original Mach1's made from Ed's hands many years ago (worth some money to serious collectors). Leagues are random draw best shot on Saturdays at 11am.
This course is accually closer then Dreska from K-town. Takes exactly 1 hour to get there from here.
Shawn & I went up there today and met Mark Andrews, Johann, and others. It took me just under 2 hours to get there from Wkgn and it was worth the drive.
Most holes aren't that long (225-300 ft), but are very fun to play. Several have lefty and righty routes, some are open, some in woodzy woods. GREAT use of elevation changes. HUGE park. Gonna be sweet in summer, especially after chain upgrades.
If anyone needs info on what is going on you can ask Mark, his email is tendickdiscgolf@hotmail.com. Mark runs leagues up there on Saturday mornings (Best shot style). The Park is putting in a huge pond at this time and a few holes will be relocated near the water. Last time I played there we were blasting a few disc into the dugout pond, it was pretty neat walking in a pond that is about the size of Bevier with no water in it.
But to answer your question, the course is open year round. Chain upgrades are in the works from what I heard last.
chain upgrades are on. they did it fairly cheap. bought in bulk and cut to lenght and installed with zip-ties. work well...
