Title: see ya in the spring

well its been a very fun year. unfortunately i wont be playing this winter, i just had an mri on my knee the other day, and the doc told me today i have a lateral muniskas tear in my left knee that requires surgery. i'm haveing the surgery done on dec 1. the injury happened in may, and i've been too stubburn to have it checked out till now. :(

good thing i went and shot a round at jerhico lake(long tees) and oswego yesterday, for they will be my last till at least February.   ;D

I'm sorry to hear about your injury but glad you are able to take care of it during the part of the year with the least amount of playing hours! Here's to a quick recovery!

I thought that was you at Eagle Ridge Duain but i wasnt sure. Must be the winter gear. Hope everything goes well for you! Listen to the doc and mother nature will take care of the rest.

bummer man, I had surgery on my tail bone last Feb which put me out about 3 months....

All I can tell you is to listen to the doctors and heal yourself properly. I had the operation done in Feb on
purpose so that my summer wouldn't suck.

Hope all goes well for ya.....

on the bright side, you get good pills....   :D

They are so good with knee surgery these days, do the pt and you'll be back better than before.  I had my bad knee evaluated for surgery and the surgeon said, "Well, I could fix half of it, but you wouldn't be satisfied with the result.  I could refer you to someone just as good as me who needs more business if you really want to try the surgery..." so I let it slide.

Hopefully you recover quickly Duain. I already can't wait till spring and its not even winter yet. It's going to be a loong winter. See you at Sinnissippi or at a tourney sometime.

well after being postponed till today, the knee surgery went great. they had to give me a spinal tap for the anestisia cause im allergect to 98% of pain meds and my back hurts more than my knee. the road to recovery starts today. i'll be up and goin by end of january ready for spring. im gonna practice puttin on my porch with my crutch once im able to put weight on my leg. everyone have happy holidays.                     peace duain

Good luck with the rehab and don't feel bashful about ordering the kids around a little for the next few weeks. Daddy can't get up right now. ;D
