wouldn't want to miss this one - would be the 4th IOS @ Lombard for me - the first of those 4 was also the date of my first tourney.  I look forward to another fun event!

You definitely don't want to miss this one. A whopping 217 players last year. 220 is the max with 110 each day.  :o

Moderator note: Past attendance is not a guarantee of future attendance.  ;D

That's to bad. Whatever the reason, I'm sure the negative will be turned into a positive. Keep up the good work!

If you host it they will come. Wherever IOS#1 takes place it will be a field of dreams.

tough to do but....
how aboot the sweet temp course at the lake county forest preserve in wauconda?
i know that would be difficult to make happen, but no better place in the area for a cool course.
plenty of parking, poopers and ponds.  sweet

As much as i'd love to host a tournament on LCFPD ground it would take a major miracle to get them to approve such an event. There are lots of hoops and red tape over there.

Interesting.  Very interesting.

I emailed Bruce with a possible suggestion for IOS #1.

Please reserve this thread for talking about the 2009 IOS #1 and take the discussion of why we aren't in Lombard over to here: http://discontinuum.org/index.php?option=com_smf&Itemid=26&topic=4408.0

Thanks!

OK, that split went better than the last one I tried to do!  ;D

Game on!!!
