A lot of Michigan players will qualify at the CCR and the AJ Open, but they will play the Angry Squirrel too, resulting in spots bumping down pretty deep.  If you want to play Am Nats, the Angry Squirrel is your best bet.  The Albion course does not require a lot of practice but you should play it once to get a feel for the short holes.  It has a lot of water.  All three of these qualifiers are on courses that are worth the drive.  If you care about tournament value, the CCR and Angry Squirrel have a better reputation for good amateur tournament value.  But the AJ Open is an MDGO fatured event, so it should be pretty good.  If you want to take a big disc golf awesome course playing tournament frenzy, the AJ Open is the feature event in the four-tournament Ludington Memorial Day Weekend disc golf orgy.

I might play one or more of these tournaments.  None of them are close to where I live, but the CCR is only 75 miles.

An email has been sent regarding the GPO being a qualifier.

Maybe Bruce can put in a good word
