Title: Rock Falls, IL--> Nims Park
Post by: CEValkyrie on June 29, 2009, 07:42:07 PM
I'd love to have this course for practice. There are so many baskets scattered in such a tiny area it's fantastic for putting. When you step on a tee you have a million options for what pin to throw to. It's pretty funny. Someone did do a good job labeling the trees with the basket # so you know where to throw to.

Dave Nelson took down the bag tag challenge shooting a perfect 18 for 18 for -18. He had a near ace basket hit as well.

This park would be a fantastic for a permanent course for  mini golf.

wow 18 for 18, thats impressive, MOVE UP YOU BAGGER!!!  ;D
Sounds like Scott Martin years ago, shot -18 at Washington Park, with just his Roc and Putter. And it has a 400' hole, does this course? Or is it all just pitch & putt?

If I remember correctly, it's a Putt & Putt.  I don't think there is a hole over 160ft?

Yea this would sure be a sick course to work on just laying up discs and practicing you approaches. Working on getting that perfect form.
