Well, I'm on a roll...I lost a disc in the river just past hole 9 at Adler. I have no idea what type of disc it was, I had found it over a year ago completely faded through, but I spray painted it orange, and did write my name and phone number on the back of it, so if it washes up and you see it, I would like it back, as I can't just replace it. By the way, is there a way to find out what type of disc one is when it is faded completely through?

If it is Discraft it will usually be etched on the inside rim.
If its lost in river at Adler, its a good chance you won't see it again.
It will either sit at the bottom of the river or possibly float downstream
Yeah, I highly doubt anyone will find it, but hey, in case I'm lucky. And yeah, I couldn't find any marks on the disc.
Recently went into the river for a disc at 9. The river was low so I found mine but nothing else was seen
there's a kid that routinely fishes out discs from the river for people, I wouldn't be surprised if he found it. He told me at the libertyville tournament about how he just used to go in with his waders but then used money from returning discs to the people (and i'm sure selling them too) was enough to buy him a little boat that a neighbor was selling.. so now he takes the boat out there to get stuff.
I think I saw him over at the Walgreens trying to sell discs he found but couldn't find any buyers
Anyone know how to get a hold of him? I would pay to get that disc back.
I think he comes around before Doubles on Tuesday and then goes to Walgreens up at 137 and milwaukee
Awesome, thank you! Maybe I will get lucky and he will have found it.
