Title: Shady Oaks Park - Streamwood
Post by: Kent Hengels on July 16, 2009, 06:10:24 AM
Just wanted to post a heads up to all players thinking of going, or who currently go, to shady oaks park in streamwood, IL.

2 hispanic boys on their bikes have been causing problems.  In the past month i have seen them:

- camped out by the basket of hole #5 and they refused to move when we were trying to throw
- standing on top of basket #5

the final straw came yesterday.  my buddy and i were teeing off on #5.  these punks hid out by the hole and waited for us to throw.  they then picked up my buddies pink discraft force and rode off on their bikes with his disc and left the park.

I have seen these kids around many times lately.  Please be careful if you see them there; they are there to cause trouble and steal discs.  next time i see them, i will be stealing their bike next time i run into them.  so if you have any brothers, sisters, sons, daugthers, grandkids, etc.that need a bike, let me know and i can get you a great price

Who's the adult here? I've had discs stolen in the past, but it didn't make me want to steal a poor kid's bike. If your friend really needs a Force, I'll buy him a new one and bring it to Streamwood. Sheesh...

You really shouldn't steal their bikes, that wouldn't be nice.  Just break a couple of their fingers instead.

If you're giving away Forces I could use one.  Saying you are going to steal a bike and actually taking a kid's bike are two different things.  But those hooligans should be dealt with in a harsh manner.
