What's the best place to eat that delivers around there? Lets all go in on some grub, any good BBQ places around there? We could get some pulled pork and do sandwhiches or some such

No pulled pork but Hillarys BBQ is the best and it is nearby. But it may not be open on Labor Day.
The plan is 2 rounds of 18. No temp holes at this event.
I updated the player list on the first post. Hopefully we can get 40 or more people out.
I'll probably be there - Scott Pitner #30192 MA1
Damn, wish I could make it but I'll be camping with the Cub Scouts. Have a good time everybody!

We will do our best. Have a great time with the scouts.
This should be a great time. The last several club invitationals have been fun. It is nice playing a sanctioned event for free. Bevier has come a long way in the last few years.
I'll be there

I'll second what Taylor said. I don't know what other thread or reason he is referring to in his post but it is a tad disappointing. I have been to the Club Invitational every year but likely won't make it this year with this new date.
However, this crew knows what they are doing so whatever the reason for the change was - I'm sure it's a good one and I still really appreciate the fact someone is willing to run it. I hope tons of people can make it and I hope it's a great time like always.

I know the date was an issue. We offered several options to vote for and it was very close.

Spread the word. Hopefully we can get 40 players out Monday. Let me know if you plan to play.
My knee has been bothering me alot lately. I have a doctor appointment in the morning. If he gives his blessing (and Carla let's me), I should be there.
If someone purchases a membership does it carry over to next year or is it just for the remainder of this year?

Brett...I have been meaning to join the club. Duain wants to go play this but doesn't want to drive that far alone. I was wondering if I was to go with him, could I join that day of and play? Regardless I would still like join the club if possible. Let me know....
Club memberships will be available the morning of the Invitational. We hope to see you on Monday.
Indeed, joining the Club to play the tournament is highly encouraged!
The forecast for the next 5 days is mid-70s with a 0% chance of rain every day. Maybe we are getting paid back for all the rainy weekends we suffered through this summer. Should be a great day on Monday!

What a gorgeous day. I have to say it was much easier to drive home today than the past couple of years. I guess Labor Day isn't such a bad idea.
