Title: 4th Tri State Invitational (Mokena 2010)
Post by: Bruce Brakel on October 19, 2009, 01:36:20 PM
For now this is just a placeholder.  I need a url for the sanctioning agreement and flyer.  The draft flyer is now attached.

I don't have a date yet.  I don't have a list of the invited players yet.  I don't have approval from the park district yet.  All I have is a url for the sanctioning agreement and the flyer.

Update:  Last weekend I stomped around the course to figure out what I'm going to do with it for the tournament.  We'll play 2 rounds of 23 holes from blue tees, except for hole 6R-22.  To see what were playing, download the scorecard.  It is designed to be printed double-sided and then folded on the fold line.

How are the invitations decided?

Former IOS tournament players with PDGA ratings will be invited and will have an opportunity to pre-register before other players.  I still need to sell another $1500 worth of discs to make this happen, but I've sold about $2800 worth of discs in the last two months, so I think I'll get there.

This looks really cool! I hope my rating will be good enough by next summer to make the top flight.  :-\

yeah you'll get there ;)  I don't think I'll be spending $1500, but I'll eat a good chunk.
