Before leagues every week that I can, I'll be out there at 9:30am for Lizard Games. This week, since there's no league, it'll be at 10:30am.
Here's the lowdown on Lizard games:
1) $1 per hole, per person. Winning team takes all. Carry over on ties. Each hole takes a fairly long time, so you won't have time to lose much more than $2 or so.
2) We'll play doubles, triples and quadruples best shot. If we have more than 8 show up, we'll break into two groups or we'll play something completely different.
3) Here's a sample of a hole we played last Sunday: We teed off hole number 1 tee and played to #1 basket. The catch was it was a mando to play around the light poles of the tennis courts clockwise. So, in other words we teed off backwards off tee 1 and then played to #2 fairway, played backwards up that and then went across to basket 1.
4) I won't run Lizard games in the rain unless the temperature is over 80 degrees F.
Probably not; family dinner in McHenry. I'll hit the Lizard games soon though.
Maybe Darkside Sat morning?
We'll prob get there about 9-9:30am. If it is drizzling or light rain, we'll be there. If t-storms are a-blazin', probably not.
I'm hoping for SUN!!!
I won't be there. I'm heading to the big town of Gridley, Population 1,200, to see my parents.
What time Sat. morning Jim? I'm gonna try to be out there early. Still a lot of wedding stuff to do now that it's getting closer so most of my day is full but I might be able to wake myself up early enough to get a round in.
Anyone coming out this Sunday besides me?
Bueller...Bueller...Bueller...
Can't do this Sunday.
April 27th, there's supposed to be a tournament down in Olympia Fields that I might hit. I've heard various opinions about the course down there, I've never played it but might check it out some day next week.
(olympia fields is about 30 mi south of Chicago....)

Sorry, I gotta pass, too. Supposed to be a wet weekend, anyway, isn't it?
