Title: Illinois-2010 New Courses

I know of several new courses that are in the works for 2010.
Hanna City-18
Metamora-18
LaSalle-18
Oglesby-9
Mundelein--9


Does anyone know of plans for new courses in Illinois this year?

Yes, It is not park district land and it will be a new to novice level course.

The new Aurora one will probably be similar to Jericho - same person is putting it in.  Hopefully all 18 will be similar to Jericho's front 9 - those are better than the back 9.

Manhattan (South of Joliet) is planning on installing a course.  (I think )9 holes.  There is ok land, kinda Mokena'ish, I believe.  I'll try and find out more info and a timetable.

love the list of new stuff going in - hopefully most of them are high quality courses!  and mirth - wish I could say I was that skilled at planning when I was going to post - would have been even more impressive if I had posted 11:11:11 on 1/11/10.  Maybe I'll save that feature for next year :P

only info we have received:

"It will be on a plot of about 20 acres and be around the same difficulty level as Jericho Lake."
