Title: Ice Bowls

Well its that time of year again for all the ice bowls but I always have a hard time hearing about them before its to late. Anyone know of some set dates that can help me out?

4th annual Jericho Lake Ice Bowl

In full swing...sponsers are rolling in (only 5 more weeks).  Here is a sample of what will be up for ctp's & raffles.
All proceeds go to the Hesed House in Aurora.  You can pre-register!  Our goal this year is to get 72+ players.

Indiana does things differently , they used to call it Tundra Bowl

The key difference is that they can't call it an Ice Bowl unless it's part of Disc Golf World's trademarked list of events supporting charities.  They trademarked the name Ice Bowl.  I think World's Biggest is similar with naming conventions.

As published on page 45 of the Fall 2010 Discgolfer Magazine, Fox Valley Metro Disc Golf Club finished 10th in food donations and 22nd in most fundraising towns in 2010!  Pretty damn good considering there were 222 Ice Bowls last year. Fox Valley thanks everyone who helped make this goal. We already started with 2011 sponsorships. Should be a good one January 29th at Jericho Lake Park.
