Title: 3.8
Post by: Chainmeister on February 10, 2010, 10:02:27 AM
So, we were at Streamwood playing glow about 4 am today.  I line up a 25 ft. putt for birdie and let it go.  I swear I hit the basket dead center.  I nailed that putt.  As soon as the disc hits the chains the chains, the basket and the whole freakin' park start to shake.   I have had bounce outs but this was crazy.  I couldn't believe the thing didn't stay in the basket.  I threw a pretty solid putt but I didn't think I threw it so hard that the chains, the basket and the entire park would start to vibrate. We had stopped for a few burritos before playing late night/early morning disc golf. Maybe my partner had a bad reaction to his burrito.  He seemed to make the ground shake. I have never had a partner fart so violently that it made my putt bounce out of the basket.  I was standing there muttering about how I couldn't believe that my putt bounced off the chains.  My partner said it really didn't matter as the vibration made me lose my balance.  He said he would have called a falling putt anyway.  Amazing, his earthquake fart makes my putt miss and even if it stayed in the basket he was going to call me for a foot fault. I think I am going to go back to sleep and dream about playing a better game in a better location...Climo was down three skins to me and... :smileinbox:

My house shook good enough to wake my wife and i up.  we were both extremely confused as to what happened.  i thought either a tree fell on the house or we were getting haunted Paranormal Activity style.

Woke me up in Ottawa.  I thought my brothers (rather large) cat was in my room.  Nope, the door was closed and there was no cat.  Looked at the cell and it was 4ish am.
