Title: Clash DVD and Series - any interest?
Post by: stpitner on February 24, 2010, 01:58:28 PM
I've seen some people really enjoy some of the Clash DVD series.  I know that I sold 1 through 3, and before I knew it 4 through 6 were out before I even took the chance to order!  I know Brett picked up one of the more recent ones (6 I think) and said he really liked it.

First question - would you guys like me to continue to stock the Clash DVD Series at tournaments?  Second, would anybody like to so any sort of subscription/pre-order service where if a new one comes out you'll know you'll get it as soon as possible without having to find me at a tournament?

Second - there's a new 3-pack DVD series coming out from the 2009 Minnesota Majestic.  It covers 3-rounds worth of footage at 3 courses - Blue Ribbon Pines (R1), Kaposia (R2), and Hyland SSA (Finals).  I have an email out to Billy to find out how much this would cost.  Is there any interest in this DVD pack?  It sounds pretty interesting - should have tons of great footage of some of the top players out there.

It looks like the Clash guys have a pretty big tournament coverage schedule planned for 2010, hope that means more even more promising things from them in the future!

Scott - the BRP Clash is excellent.  I've got a bit of it in my next show (#34 should be done in a day or two).  I was chatting with Billy this morning, and he said the Minnesota three pack is his best yet, so I'd give those a go for sure.  He and his team are getting better and better and can use any support folks can offer.

If I understood Billy's emailed response to me you could buy individual dvd's or the full set of 3 - MSRP of $11.99 per dvd.  I didn't find out how long each DVD is... maybe that information will be available once it goes live next week.
