The divisions are split as follows: Open, Intermediate, and Novice are on Saturday. Everybody else plays Sunday. Full tournament details can be found by going to the tournament information and registration link at the above page.
APRIL 17th-18th, 2010 - Pro-C / Am-B TIER
Many thanks to Tim and Fade Gear for helping this event come together!
Singles both rounds - at least 20 holes!
Thanks to Alan Webster for stepping up and sponsoring $100 to go as added cash to the Pro Purse!
A couple registrations have come in - I hear lots of going talk going on from the folks out in Sinnissippi - going to be well worth the trip out there! Pin placements will probably be in a lot of different places than the IOS later in the year, so it's going to feel like a whole different course.
Tim McNinch will be out there offering food for players this year. It will be freshly grilled and most likely sold for donations that will go towards course improvements. He's still working out the details.
Tim has informed me that baskets are in tournament positions, so go get warmed up! We're working on making sure the hole with throwing off the hill shot is a temp hole and a 2nd temp hole from 18 to the parking lot to help get back to hole 1.
sent check today. Glad advanced division is on Sunday. With son a starting pitcher and 2nd baseman on the sophomore baseball team, going to be hard to play any Saturday tournaments until June. Except the A-Tier at Lemon Lake.
See ya soon Scott.
Just ordered from Innova and Discraft to get stocked up for this weekend! Rain is no longer in the forecast - and I hope it stays that way! 450 new discs, will have Nukes, Stalkers, Pro Katanas, Glow Buzzz, DX Darts, all that good new stuff :)
that is great great scott i will see you there, can you let me know when you recieve my pre reg in the mail i sent it next day to you for rec and nov div. thanks
Ryan - got your pre-reg, your name is on the pre-reg list.
Currently at 27 Saturday and 20 Sunday. Those numbers are definitely going to grow - definitely worth coming on out!
the course was busy today. lots of discs flying. the park district was out mowing and cleaning branches up. can someone contact them about garbage cans, very few and far between. people are leaving trash where the cans use to be.
gonna be a fun weekend. see you out there

sounds like you just nominated yourself for that job.
What's the water level around the island hole Duain?
this is a quote from an email that Tim sent to Doug at the park district on March 20th - hopefully they still follow up:
QuotePlease check on the number of trash barrels and provide us a few extra near the Tee Pads.
Anybody use one of the restrooms today @ the main pavilion? They are supposed to be back open, but I definitely want to make sure!
when i was there yesterday the creek around 5 barely went past the top of my shoes. The bathrooms were still closed.
I emailed Tim about the bathrooms, and he told me that the bathrooms will either be open or he will see to it that a porta-potty will be there. Thank you Tim!
Bathrooms are open. The course is getting heavy traffic but is looking great. The pin locations provide good variety of shots. 4 of the newest pin locations are in play on holes 1, 5, 8, and 17.
(removed because I accidentally posted on the wrong thread)
40 people signed up for Saturday, 27 for Sunday - going to be a BUSY weekend - be sure to pre-register and make sure you get a spot, we max at 100 each day! There were 98 each day of the IOS last year out there!
hope the weather holds up. raining hard here in Pekin now
the chance of rain tomorrow is listed as 0%. looking at the radar, there is nothing even remotely close to approaching the area. i'd say we are in for a beautiful day.
50 people signed up for Saturday, 31 for Sunday so far. Should be a very busy weekend - thanks to those that pre-registered! Get out there early tomorrow because I have a feeling there's going to be a bunch of walkups as well!

Dan, is that the same for Sunday? I don't play tomorrow.
Sunday is supposed to be better than Saturday. No rain expected until mid-week next week in this area - Sunday the wind is supposed to be calmer than Sunday.
Should be an awesome weekend!
Thanks Scott. Guess I can leave the rain gear at home then. It poured here for about 2 hours this morning, with drizzle till around Noon. Thought it might get that way. Glad it missed.
Thanks to the 75 of you that came out on Saturday! Your scores are now posted on the PDGA website. Sorry that I don't have more to comment on right now, I'm just super super tired.
Good shooting all!

Good event Scott. Great day, good luck tomorrow.
Thanks for the great day Scott and Adrian! Always love playing Sinnissippi!
What a great weekend. Thanks Scott and all others involved with helping.
Sunday's scores are up! Congrats to Michael "Machine" Austin shooting the hot round of the day with a ridiculous 1036's rated 10-down round!

Thanks all for coming out!
Did intermediate and open players play the same layout on Saturday because if so that is a ridiculous score by the intermediate winner. Seriously...
Paul, he did that last year too. Actually, last year he went from a few 800 rated rounds to the near 1000 rated rounds from Saturday to Sunday.
same layout both days. It was tougher wind on Saturday too. He's received quite the ribbing from everybody about it, but at least he's a PDGA member with a legit rating and not some sort of bagger (well, although enough others would probably call him a bagger ;) ).
These results WILL be in by Tuesday for the deadline.
Thanks Scott, Adrian, Jessica and the rest of the crew for running this event.
Great course, great people, great food, equals priceless!
mega props to Tim McNinch from Fade Gear offering up the food FOR FREE with a donation accepted that was going back towards the course. Awesome stuff!

not really, considering he lives in Sterling. That is his home course. He won Advanced Sunday as well.
TD reports were submitted in time for the May 3rd ratings update :)
