Is anybody else disgusted by how overrated the Big East is again? I'm so sick of this conference getting all the limelight. Georgetown gets a 3 seed after going 10-8 in the Big East. Purdue and MSU go 14-4 in the Big 10 and come away with 4 and 5 seeds.
Guess what? Georgetown loses yesterday to a MAC team that had a losing conference record. Villanova, with a 2 seed that should have been a 3 seed, needs OT against Robert Morris. Notre Dame and Marquette lose to 11 seeds.
Hopefully the Big 10 fairs better than the Big East today. I hear the Big 10 get bashed quite a bit and the Big East seems to get pumped up by ESPN and other networks every year. Maybe a few teams in the Sweet 16 this year can change things.

I agree 100% with this. The odds makers did figure the Big East was going to have the worst conference record in the tourney this year so they know something.
Between Red Sox, Yankees, Le Bron, and the Big East ESPN is hard to stomach. Their east coast bias is sickening.

I could give 2 shits about my or anybody else's bracket, especially Obama's bracket which is mentioned constantly on TV. Brackets are mildly entertaining side games that everybody plays and everybody has a story about how their bracket got busted just like everybody has a story about how they missed 4 putts they should have made at a disc golf tournament or they got busted out of a poker game on a bad beat. FYI, nobody cares about anybody's hard luck story except their own.
What I do care about is rooting for the Big 10 and pulling for the teams I gambled on. Today those 2 things came together well with Purdue's win over Siena.
Being a Bradley fan, I loved watching Kansas lose to the MVC Team Northern Iowa. Bradley gave them 1 off their 4 losses. I recall Bradley beating Kansas in 2007 to make it to the Sweet 16. Neat how history repeats itself.
I had Kansas as a Final 4 losing to Syracuse. But nice to see a Mid Major beat a National Powerhouse!
Big Ten, the only conference with 3 teams in the Sweet 16. Perhaps next season the Big Ten regular season champs will get more respect than 10-8 Big East teams from the selection committee. What a joke.

J-Town disc golfer, Thor Bachelor played on that Bradley team.

Unfortunately there has been an East Coast bias in sports as long as can remember. That will probably never change. When I lived in Maryland it was very obvious. It has just gotten worse over the years because of ESPN. I kinda like the idea that the Big 10 gets very little respect prior to the tournament and then almost always have 1 or 2 teams go deep. I will never understand the love affair with Kansas especially with Bill Self as the head coach.

DX Ontario Roc and/or Star Mako
No need to name your disc Damon. You have already clinched the title. Not a very exciting year for the brackets with all the upsets. The Final Four weekend is inconsequential.
Damon,
I was given two discs today for you. But I don't remember who gave them to me. I am pretty sure that Doug B gave me a disc, but if the other person could post here I would appreciate it.
Congrats on lapping the field this time around.
Tom
Yea that was me Doug B. I gave you a Champ Groove.
Thanks for running this Tom!

My intense study of Bracketology paid off. However, the mental exhaustion involved caused my complete collapse in the 2nd round at Bevier yesterday. That's my excuse and I'm sticking to it.
I also got discs from Taylor and Barish yesterday. I think that #2 Driver ("floats in water!") I got from somebody is going up on Ebay though.
