First time playing Rock Springs in Alton, IL. And let me tell you that it is one of the most unique courses in IL. I felt like i crushed it with a 51, when i heard that nikko shot a 43 i thought the person was lying.  That is crushing it to a defferent level. Course par is 57. Thats 14 down.

it didn't look like the scores were split out between ams and pros where they didn't play the same coure, so that rating of 1100 is incorrect along with all the other unofficial ratings.

Alton is an awesome course. I played it with dirt tees. Cannot wait to get back. I didn't know there were long tees there too until last time. If those end up being concrete, wow!

I read on another board the pools are fixed and that rating is 1001.

Nikko at Alton from AO.
front 9 -232432223
#2 is a bomb drive and a very tough 2 to get.
#4 bogey on a duece hole--rolled down the hill ob
#5 big uphill shot with a question mark finish to the left. Super tough 2 to get.

back 9- 222232223 birdied every hole on the back. 3s were par 4s

There is no way that a 43 is a 1001. i think you mean 1101.
