Title: Six degrees of DISCaration
Post by: Chainmeister on June 01, 2010, 11:57:36 AM
I got a call last week from a guy named Chris who found my dx Cobra in a pond on a course in Valpo.  I have never played a course in Valpo.  I have had 2 dx cobras ever.  One was in the first batch of discs I bought in the late 90's.  God only knows where that one went. I may have given it away. I bought another in 2005  and lost it in Rockford.  I have not owned one since then.  I told Chris he was one of the good guys and he should keep the disc.

it's almost like you would want to stamp those "where's George?" stamps on the discs - see how far my lost disc travels!

Couldn't find it but reminds me of the video Brett posted about a year ago with the Mideasteners with the IOS stamp disc... pretty crazy how far a lost disc can travel...

lol, the guy from Israel with the disc?  No, he bought that one direct from me that I bought from Bruce.  He has purchased some more since then, and I also recently sent out a DISContinuum disc to Finland - so the IOS and DISContinuum is slowly working on getting worldwide coverage! :)
