heck yea. moved all the way up to 4th in the Advanced division. hope alot of people miss #6, as the Indiana St. Championships(Lemon Lake) is alot better course than West Park. I know 1 other in the Top 5 is going to Lemon Lake. Don't think Bob Gorbold is catchable anyway. He is to solid.
Thank you for staying on top of this, Tyler!
will these be updated soon?
bump
Updated point before the last IOS at Round Lake in October. Based on the requirement of a minimum of four events played, some leaders will not be elligible to win. If someone near the top of the leader board has not played in at least three IOS events yet, they are highlighted in red. If someone has played in three events, they are highlighted in yellow and must play in that division at Round Lake to be elligible. Note that some divisions will not have anyone who played in the minimum of four events (Pro Women, Pro Masters, Pro Grandmasters, Rec Women, any Juniors).

thanks alot Tyler.
now, the 3 and a half weeks deciding whether the 4 hour drive(almost) will be worth the 2nd or 3rd place overall trophy ??? will there even be 3 for the Advanced overall ?
I know some dont really care about IOS points, but does anyone know when this will be updated and finalized? I know myself and a few others like this point series every year.
Where are the rest of these points? Nine IOS spots! Awesome.
I would love to see some IOS events in the Peoria or Springfield area... I am just interested in seeing how many people in Northern Illinois care that it is an IOS event... if they care enough, then they would travel... just like a number of us often do.
not going to happen. they have already discussed why it would not be an easy tourny to put together.
we just need to show our support and drive to Chicago to play. unless your club there in Bloomington is going to run some sanctioned events? cause we know Peoria wont!!

Hope my guesses are at least close. If not sorry, but they are most definitely unofficial...

yes only 5 weeks or so actually count, not all 9. Gorbold won the Advanced, but don't think Slater held on to 2nd. either myself or Matt Travis got it.

guess I can be happy with that 4th, as my goal was top 10. And to beat Dave Nelson, which I did that ;D
Going to try to better that in this upcoming season my last as an Advanced player. Can't wait to see the schedule.
Congrads to the top finishes on the 2010 tour.
I also can't wait to see that 2011 schedule. :toothy12: :toothy12: :toothy12:

lmao Dan. but to consider me as 1 of the best of alltime, I'll take that as a compliment.
Masters is calling my name after this season. can't keep competing with these young guns.
will play Am Masters until after 2012 Worlds in Charlotte N. Carolina, then I will make the jump to Pro Masters
I want to thank Tyler Williams for all the hard work he puts into calculating the overall points and event statistics. Thanks again Tyler!
yes, Thank you Tyler
Thank you, Tyler!!
So, I was going to dye some trophy discs for Jon to use in his Season Overall Points trophy concept using a nice geometric you might have seen before, and then it occured to me that maybe some people who know they are getting an overall points trophy might like something else dyed on it. If you know you are getting a 2010 points trophy, I could dye anything on the disc that I've dyed before including
CUBS
Cubby
SOX
Bears
Chicago Skyline
Brewers
Cat in Hat
Tigger
Vader
Yoda
Jerry
You'd have to let me know right away.
are the Overall Standings for 2010 done yet? if we knew where we stood in the standings, and how many trophies per division, we could possibly place an order.

Can you do a Pittsburgh Steelers Bruce?
4th place in Advanced
I would love a Bear's logo Bruce
-Steven Jacobs
I do not have the Steelers logo in my current repetoire. It is easy to do, and I've seen it done, but it would not be available from me any time soon. There is a guy in western PA who makes Steelers dyed discs.
how about a St. Louis Cardinals?
I've never done the Cardinals.
Most major league sports logos can be dyed fairly easily, and probably the St. Louis Cardinal's logo is among them. If it is a colored in cartoon style logo, a black border with simple fill colors, those are not hard to do. When you have two colors side by side, neither of which is black or white, then the design is harder to do. The set up for a new design is both expensive and time consuming. Usually most players do not want to pay for the one-time set-up and design costs, which are actual dollar costs out of my pocket, not just time spent with photoshop or illustrator. I have to pay a one-time set-up fee to the lady who cuts the mask for me.
When it is my own artwork, like Vader or the Geometrics or Stevie Ray, I don't mind paying for the set-up because it strokes my ego.
Other logos I have already set-up:
Chief Illiniwek
Chief Yahoo
49ers
Raiders
Pistons
Lions
Stevie Ray Vaughn
Hatchet Man
MICHIGAN (U of M)
Both goldfish designs that I've also used for hotstamps
1Up [A video game charachter?]
Batman
Superman
Chief Illiniwek
4th place in Advanced, please and thanks.

Just to note. These are the top spots but not all of these spots will get an overall award. I will use all of the money that we collected for overalls but it will probably be three for each of the big 3 amateur divisions and 1st place for the other divisions that had people that played the series.
Do i have a trophy somewhere?

I'm still working on them. I got the discs from Bruce so I'm the only hold up now. Everyone that should get a trophy will get a trophy though.

Is there going to be a 2011 datasheet like last year, for points?
Yes. Our number crunch has been a little short on time, but we should have it posted sometime next week.

will the overall awards for 2010 be passed out at an event this year? and is it like a tourny payout? does like the top 3rd(based on avg of players per div) get bucks to use with Pitner, or is it strictly just a trophy awards?

There's a trophy for the top 3 in the largest amateur divisions. 1st trophy for all smaller divisions in which there was real participation. I will have them at Sinnissippi as long as I remember to pack them!
There is no payout for overalls because the players don't pay in for overalls. We run 50/50 ctps to pay for the overall trophies.
thanks for the clarification Jon. see ya Sunday at Sterling
