Title: Course Updates
Post by: CEValkyrie on July 16, 2003, 01:13:57 PM
We discussed this at the club meeting Sunday.

Jay is working on getting Round Lake updated with the monsterous pictures I sent him.

It would be nice to have this for all courses we update

1. Pictures of each hole

2. Description of each hole

3. Course Map

4. Score Card w/ distances

Bevier has most of this but has to be updated when B gets in.

Round Lake is underway.

Anyone want to volunteer to start getting pics of UW Parkside & Libertyville?

Just sometime before the end of the century....  ;)

I'd also like to see a WI-type map that has towns & their courses as bubbles on the map.

Yeah, I know there's a map on our site but last I looked none of the dots had a town name attached to it...

I thought it was 9.50!

For more details, please see under "Bagging, Sandbagging, Losers, and Poodles"

just kidding...

This is right where you wanted to be last year!  Good job sticking to your goals!

Oh, I'm just crying for you guys........

BTW, the Fairfield pics look GREAT on the website!!!  Just one minor thing: "deuce", not "duece".

I will brother.

Just 1 thing. On hole 10, the wrong basket is circled. The basket is around the swamp to the right. You cannot see the basket from the tee.

Thanks again Jay!

I didn't see this. I posted under the ratings page. I've over-achieved all my life & I don't plan to stop now. I'm pumped about that rating but who knows how long it will last.

Bruce,

I have also been searching the web on those 3 Michigan courses that we will be playing for the Sturgeon. There are some very nice pictures. Hopefully they will help me to kick your but on your home courses. :)

Alrighty then, thanks for the update Bruce.  I am not going to go this year as I am spending 10 days at Sandy Point for Northwoods.  They don't care how bad my rating is!  I will make Am Worlds next year though.

Holes 1-18 are up and online.

Brett if you, being the Fairfield authority, want to write up some hole descriptions or something just send them to me and I will get them posted online.

G'night all, I'm finally going to bed

I'd volunteer to do L'ville and B'Grove, but I might not finish until after the Illinois Open. Is there a time limit?

Brett, you dawg!  The PDGA has given you a 950 rating for your performance at UWParkside!  If you want to go to USADGC next year, quit playing sanctioned tournaments right now!  Your rating won't be this high for awhile to come.

See you in Joliet, Mr. 950.
