Title: THE Innova Vulcan
Post by: Steven Jacobs on January 24, 2011, 04:31:40 PM
Tested a new 175 stock stamp star vulcan today on the streets in my neighborhood.  It's like my beat in katana, great for huge turnovers and long s shots.  Easy to throw out of the box unlike the first run of those flat stock stamped star katanas. (Which I still like to throw)  You really need to control the angle to throw this disc best I think.  I bet this would be a great power roller disc.  Anyone else thrown it?

Finally tried out a 172 g vulcan yesterday.  Was a great disc.  Threw perfectly.  I was able to get some long shots, and will from now on it will be used a lot!  Definitely would recommend it for others to get and try.

I got a 170 Vulcan @ Prairie Open (everything else was 150ish except the Star 'Proto' stamps that I wasn't going to pay $20 for..). Haven't figured it out yet; I was expecting something more like a Sidewinder but so far it's a lot closer to a Katana. My mechanics have been even worse than usual lately though, so I'm not a good judge.
