Title: Lots of new plastic coming out from Innova
Post by: stpitner on March 18, 2011, 03:03:35 PM
For those of you who are coming back from the Offseason and haven't heard about some new discs that have either come out or is going to come out, here's the latest list of new stuff from Innova.

R-Pro Wahoo (driver) - 169g, floats in water, speed 12 with a ton of glide.
Star Vulcan (driver) - speed 13, less stable than the Katana
DX Wedge (putter) - speed 3.5, speedy low profile putter
Yeti-Pro Aviar (putter) - speed 2, it's essentially a flat top KC Aviar

Coming Soon:
Champion Ape (driver) - speed 13, more stable than a Boss, think faster XCaliber (due in April)
Archon (driver) - speed 11, possibly slightly less stable than a Wraith, current stats looks like it would be like a faster Valkyrie - currently unknown what plastic it will come out first in (anticipating Pro, Champ, and Star eventually)  probably May?

Guess I'll have to be well stocked by the time tournament season gets here :)

I have thrown the Wahoo, and it flips over very very easy. It did glide a long way, but way to the right where I wasn't aiming. and yes,  it does float! may be a better disc for someone with less snap??

I have a Star Vulcan, but have not thrown it yet. a buddy throws it, and gets it to turn over hard as well.  Probably wont throw it, as I collect 1st run Star stamps.
