The polos are dry-fits so they do not shrink. They run true to size. The shirt that is being given away is the same shirt as the one that Kenny wears (his College Team Shirt white w/ purple) except these are white w/ maroon.
Online Pre-Reg will remain open but today is the last day to pre-reg and get the Dry-Fit Polo in your AM Players Pack for the Sunday B-tier...
How bad is the ivy this year? I got it bad there last year.
I've been clearing brush, trees, limbs and sinking Tee Posts all week - haven't got into any yet... but it is definitely here.

Kenny, if you haven't tried it yet. I'd recommend getting some Ivy Block and coating up before the round. It keeps the urushiol from bonding to the skin. OR you could just keep it in the fairway. :o
Rhuli Gel works great for getting rid of poison oak, ivy and sumac. very cheap and one tube should last you all summer.
So I talked to Dodge today and he really came through for us. In addition to the FiveFingers CTP giveaway between rounds on Sunday. We will have 2 Vibram CTP's one on Sunday and one on Saturday.
Winner of the CTP gets a Vibram Dryfit Shirt, Vibram Hat and a Disc of their choice...
Dana V. Signature Series Putters are scheduled to arrive tomorrow. Can't wait to see them.
Pre-Reg will remain open until Midnight tomorrow - after that day of registrations can still be done at the course.

6:30'ish.
We are starting @ 11:00 to give travelers a chance to get into town with the expectation they would be staying to play both days. Saving a night of hotels for everybody.
Depending on the turnout and if groups are limited to 4 i'd expect the alternate doubles to finish fairly early. Alternate shot doubles plays very fast. There are no debates over what disc to take. I'm just using 54 as a good score. The # of throws is going to be around 108 per group. A typical doubles round would be around 200 throws between the 4 players.
My gut tells me 2 hour rounds or less. A group of 6 could slow the day down a bit. If play begins around 11:15 & with an hour lunch i'm predicting 430pm.
Are both courses being used during the doubles?
Both courses will be used.

On the South Course Hole #4 is listed twice so you would have to subtract the distance of the layout not being used for the actual measure. It is listed twice since different tees for the longs are being used because the picnic tables by #4 were not available to be reserved on the Saturday Event.
Course is looking great, like the changes. Springfield disc golf is awesome.
I 2d 18 on the south today, it was nasty.
I had an awesome time this weekend. Thanks to SDGC for running the events.
Great event i had a great time. I really gotta say that i liked the later start time and we were still done right around 6. everything moved fast and smoothly. hopefully i can afford to come out next year and bring more people with me. Also, very good disc and accessory selection.
i would like to make a couple of comments about the south course though. it was a really challenging layout but with all the low hanging branches everywhere it really took away from the courses lines and choices. im not saying to get rid of all of them but clean them up some so there are real line choices besides low flyers. hole 18 on the north course could benefit from this too.
also, i found it frustrating that on the long holes the cement pads were couple inches above the ground. this canceled out any kind of safe run-up/timing steps.

You know that has never been mentioned before, but as soon as I read it - I found my self saying - "Yep, that is right..." I will mention it to the park district... Thanks for commenting - don't want somebody turning an ankle or knee.
Thanks for making the trip.
Fair review on dgcr -
Tree trimming is a gradual thing cuz once you cut it - it's gone.
We were talking about that with a few of the open players at the end of the day - there will be some additional trimming on #3 and #12... But there are alot of places that the low ceiling is intentional - especially near the outer roads - trying to keep the discs low and in the park.
I see your a "big fan" of #3 --- I was curious and looked at the score spread on that one 2's to 5's with a total of 16 2's during the weekend. If you end up hyzering out early on that one there is a definite coffin corner there... I got to watch the putts on that one all through the weekend since it was right by tourney central both days. Some fantastic uphill putts were being made... it was fun to watch.
