sent the check yesterday Jesse, but you already know this per the phone conversation. Can't wait to see your beautiful course again, along with the Great Scott Papa showing his face again.

Me and my brother will see you on Saturday. Do you know of any other Adv Masters, as that is Ricks division.

I'm looking forward to playing this event. Driving and hour farther then the local event near my house. IL States rules!

Thanks Randy.

Doug, I haven't palyed much competitive golf this year. It was becoming not so fun. I did play in Springfield a few weeks ago. I plan on playing IL States & Sinnissippi.

I always want to play this tournament, even when last year's player pack was a bag o' crap.  I'd rather get a Zephyr than the useless junk they gave us last year.  Nonetheless, I hope to be there this year.  You can't win a State Championship if you don't show up to play.

It would be fun to see you Barish.  And you too, Brett.

Brett, I sent a PDGA mail to the State Coordinator for Illinois.  Whereever that mail goes, could you check your mail?   :-*

I just received a big batch of preregistered players from the PDGA (Breiner) this morning. The site is updated. They seem very slow sending these to me this year.

I'd suggest using someone local to do the online registration in the future like Terry Miller or Scott Pitner.

I'd suggest using someone local to do the online registration in the future like Terry Miller or Scott Pitner.

All of the Michigan TDs are using Disc Golf Scene for pre-reg.  You get a smaller upcharge than PDGA.com and a bunch of bells and whistles, including the chat page that is part of your tournament page.

Also, I pre-registered for this and hope to be there, but things suddenly got complicated here.  If I'm not there, donate my entry fee to the Pro Grand Master added cash.

it is suppose to rain here today, and it's looking bad now. hopefully some of that will make it to Highland before we start. or there may be alot of skip aways this weekend!

This tournament, once again, offered great value, which is why I consider it a must-play every year.  A reasonable entry fee ($38 for ADV) for 48 holes of competitive golf on the best course in this area.  A well-run event with scores posted immediately.  Fun day, thanks to all those involved.  Congrats on your win Doug.

I thought the tournament was better than last year.  I was glad they went back to the disc and a mini player pack.  I would much rather get a disc than a shirt in my player pack.  If it was a fashion show, then a shirt would be fine.  I also thought the tournament was well run, and I like tournaments that have some kind of cheap lunch included in the deal.  The monsoon on Sunday morning was an ordeal to play in, but I try not to hold the weather against the TD.
