I like Anthon because its close to home for him and some of these other guys might be a tad burnt out from their month-long trip to Europe that just ended.
1. Doss
2. Ulibarri
3. Locastro
4. Feldberg
I think this is finally his year. he gets his 1st Worlds Title.....
Nikko
isnt this Doss's childhood 'backyard'?
Im going
Doss
Uli - hes been playing awesome this year
Anthon - he'll flirt for the lead several times but he chokes when it counts.
Feldberg
maybe McBeth and Nikko
My Top 5
Doss
Feldberg
Anthon
Locastro
McBeth
I say Doss over Feldberg and Owens in a three-way sudden death playoff.
Alot of Doss picks. I would agree with the Doss home-course advantage theory if they were playing 3 rounds at Delaveaga. However, they only have 1 round there and the other 3 courses are newer with some temp holes. Is it wierd that they are only playing 1 round per day?
Also, there is Mick's theory from 'Rocky' working against Nate.

I thought that was weird as well, but then I read that each round will be 27 holes....so 1.5 rounds per day. Plus the courses are kinda spread out around the Monterey Bay area.

I didn't watch the clip, but in my head I'm hearing a gravel-y voice saying "Women weaken legs."
At 100-1 odds, I'll put a buck on Ziggy Bierekoven. ;D

who am I to disagree with the champ, but I'll substitute The Champ for Feldberg, just thinking that if he's got one more left this year might be it - he's got the nerves for those courses.
Anthon.
Because this is a no-sucking worlds, Climo is at a severe disadvantage. If I were betting, I would not bet on a nicotine addict.

I think most tobacco smokers are familiar with nicotine gum and patches.
I have to say McBeth, Nikko, Anthon, Uli
Home state/country for Open Men's division:
85 - California
37 - Other states west of the Rockies
21 - Sweden (?)
37 - the rest of the world
Sure, the economy is keeping people away, but those should keep Worlds on our side of the country for a few years.

Just saw on the PDGA board that Climo is on the DL, so I'll substitute Leiviska... if I were picking one I'd probably go w/ Doss.
Does someone have a link to scoring for worlds? The PDGA website is a joke. Actually worse than a joke. I have not been able to get on the site.
Thanks.

Tell me about it. It took forever to update the pre-reg list for IOS # 4 last night.
I can't tell you how sick I am of the PDGA website. I did read that Dynamic Discs will be updating scores on facebook today. I just joined their page.
Doss is killing it.
I couldn't watch the live video cause my ATT internet is terrible.
I wonder whats going on on the 2nd card.

Much better than PDGA
thanks! much better...I was so getting sick of checking pdga. And congrats on that cool win, Steven! :icon_king:
they need to take a lesson from jussi murramassa (sorry if i butchered the name) with the EO this year. he ran the scoring all on his own website and was able to keep the entire field scores updated.
at least DGPs coverage is way improved and they were scrolling the scores.
