Cement Tees are in !

Easy to follow flow once you drive thru the park once.

Get course map from link above for distances.
No T signs yet.

10 is a great hole.
Alt  18  also.

Practice basket   >   can you install a putting circle ?

Somehow missed 12th tee.
Guess its cement by the old pool. Pix dont show it well.
Played Alt 18   T  to 12 basket.
Thought that was a good hyzer shot over the bridge.

Thought 9  could be tucked more, got to have a side arm nowadays.

Is road down right hand side of 4  ob  ?

One basket behind base ball fence , interesting

Great use of land  > baskets in ground

Play ground and Pavillions good for family to hang while u play

good food

Come on out if you can make it!  Will play some doubles or something afterwards!

Ribon cutting ceremony this saturday 9-17-11 at 10:00, Chautauqua Park in Pontiac. After that we (yes US) will be on hand to help any new players and to introduce the game of disc golf. We are planning to have 15 minutes of Putting and Driving demonstrations followed by 9 holes of instructional disc golf for anyone that shows up and has an interest. Please come on up to Pontiac and help out if you can.
thanks.

Dana--I wish I could make it for this. I'll actually be in the area but my nephews game is at 9am in Roanoke. Has anyone talked to the Pontiac Schools and local newspapers? If someone composes an official e-mail and contact i'll send it to my sister and brother-in-law. They both work for the Pontiac Schools. I'd consider sending it to Dwight as well. Once park officials see one town has something positive they are competitive and want it too.

A press release was sent out to the paper and radio.  The Rec Center is promoting.  I'll see if I can get that press release from Dan Nagel.

Maybe stop out afterwards?
