I know that there is a 2 day tournament in joliet that weekend but if any of you cant play 2 days, come on down for this fun event!!!

The Inaugural
Soy City Challenge



Where: Nelson Park Disc Golf Course
Decatur, IL


When: Saturday, October 29, 2011

Registration/Warm-Up: 6:30-8:30am
Players Meeting/Ribbon Cutting: 8:30-9:00am
Round 1 Tee-off: 9:15



What: Decatur's First Disc Golf Tournament

-PDGA Sanctioned C Tier Event
-2 rounds of 18-22 holes
-A Grand Opening Ceremony
-Free Lunch!!!
-CTPs and prizes for all divisions (Zanfel, Keen shoes, Discs, etc)
-All Amateurs will receive a Custom Stamped Glo San Marino Roc or a Champion Teebird-L disc and a Paragon Towel... maybe some other swag too...



Pro Divisions - $45 ($55 for non-pdga members)
Advanced Divisions - $35 ($45 for non-pdga members)
Intermediate - $30 ($40 for non-pdga members)
Rec - $20 (Trophy Only)
Novice - $20 (Trophy Only)
($3 goes to the Decatur Youth Disc Golf Outreach Program and $2 will be paypal fee)

Registration is up!!! Please pre-register if you are planning on attending because it will help the TD, merchandiser, and the food provider tremendously.

Registration is coming in pretty good.  Only the first 50 AMs will get a good players package.  Also, if you pre register, you are guaranteed free lunch!

Hey Doug I thought you were done playing local ADV tournies?  Did I see your name on the pre-reg list for ADV?

local, meaning our local courses I am Dana. Decatur and Ottawa, not local. but yes, after Ottawa, I will donate my money to your division.   Kewanne on Nov 12th, me and my partner will be in the Open division.

Congrats on getting the course it,   not going to be able to road trip down for this.

All 50 premium players packages are spoken for!!! If you sign up day of, you will still get a $10 credit towards a disc in A1-Discs inventory. We currently have 55 registered for the tournament... that mean as pre registration draws to a close, we have 33 spots left.

If you are planning on coming up, I suggest you call me in the next couple days and let me know.
