I forgot about discussing this course. It's actually not too far from my house. It's closer to get to than Crystal Lake. I added it and gave it a review on DGCR. Such an awesome piece of land and such a bad course :(

At 1pm today I'm meeting with the administrative staff at McHenry County Conservation District. I'm hoping they go for a quality 18+ hole course.
Good luck out there Brett!
As always, thanks for all of your hard work in bringing quality disc golf courses to the area!
:wav:
Thanks Jason!
The meeting went pretty good. The site used to be owned by YMCA. They had disc golf prior and people expressed interest to reinstall. They had a few workers design and install. Their plan is to see how it goes then reassess. If it's used and there is a demand their is a possibiity move on in the future.
Here is what I need the disc golf coummunity to do.
1. Please spread the word about the course. Go play it! They want to see people playing it.
2. Review the course in disc golf course review. They want input. They are going to check the site out.

3. Contact them via their website. Please be considerate but honest. Tell them you'd like to see a well designed 18+ hole course.

Nice job Brett. Thanks for all the hard work.
stupid question ,
how far is this from Lippolt in CL
doesnt seem that far
6 or 7 miles i think
what a let down. Fel-Pro has soooooo many unique features and great land for a STELLAR course. i was really excited to play a really fun 9 holer.
Back and forth across a mostly open field. trees line the edge of a large open area on the side of a small hill and theres a handful in the center area. These kind of come in to play but for the average REC player it wont be anything you cant manage. its very boring!
positives, altho they went cheap on the baskets with single chains, im really glad they choose innova. their single chain catches the best out of all of them, you can barely tell the difference. my only concern is that they arent built as strong and i worry about the chucker factor.
also, a great place for locals to work their vertical game before going to a tourny with elevation change. Lippold and HBMS are to flat for that. PR isnt bad for this practice but i personally have bad luck with losing discs there. this is much closer than RO or RL for alot of people.
just dont go out of your way to play this. do as you go to and/or from another course.
Adam,
Please do this for me.

i plan on it, just giving it a few days for myself to be as non-basis as possible with my review and letter.
i contacted them via their website, got a quick (defensive) response.
