Hello all,
This is Case Jackson, I have had the pleasure of meeting many of you in person and have disc golfed with several either through leagues or the IOS tournies. I also am an industrial design student at the University of Illinois at Urbana/Champaign. For my senior design thesis project I have chosen to do something disc golf related and I need your help formulating my research.
The two avenues I am looking at designing in are disc golf bags and disc golf training equipment. For bags I am specific looking to find problems people have with their current bags and hopefully will try to correct these problems through my designs. For training equipment I feel the disc golf scene lacks training equipment that helps to physically enforce all the knowledge we possess about proper disc golf form.
I have prepared two short surveys that will help me channel my research which will help fuel my concepts for a product.

If you have the time I would greatly appreciate your time and answers in completing both or one of the surveys. If you have further questions, ideas or comments, feel free to post on this thread or PM me. I will be monitoring this thread and the survey results and hopefully it can provide me with a great launch point for my project.
Thanks in advance and happy discin'!

Quick and easy! Good luck with the project.
same here.
If you design some training equipment that gets me to make putts, let me know immediately.
Simple survey that I finished in what is missing from my disc golf game...
..a snap.
Thank you everyone who has already participated, between this community and another one 73 people have already filled the surveys out in less than 24 hours. That's freaking awesome!
Dan, putting seems to be a very possible topic as many people seem to want to improve that.
Dave, achieving snap is also a very popular problem according to the survey results.
I will be keeping the surveys open until Friday so if you have not done it yet have at it!
Once again thank you to those who already participated, I will keep you all posted on my progress as I progress into the next phase which is concept development.
Thanks again!
