That's a better way to start the game than most of us have - aimlessly tossing discs for a few years before realizing how to really throw them.

I work on weekdays and now that the time has changed it's too dark for me to play after work. I will probably head out to Fink Park (Highland Park) or Willow Stream Park (Buffalo Grove) this Saturday until about 3PM if you want to meet up. I'll be glad to show you around.

It's normal for some muscles to be sore your first time out, yes. As with any exercise, stretching beforehand helps if you haven't thrown in a while.

A round on a typical 9 hole around here doesn't take long. Maybe 20-30 minutes tops. I usually play all day if the time allows.

Insurance, I'm a fairly new player and get out on the weekends mostly. I live about 2 miles from Fink. I'm trying to find some fellow players in the area so let me know if you ever wanna play a round.
