News from Innova:
Two new molds have been PDGA approved.
The Mamba is a speed 11 finese driver for players looking for more turn out of thier drives. It excels at giving more distance even when not thrown perfectly. The Dominator is a speed 13 driver that falls between the Katana and the Boss. The Dominator has great glide and displays a predictable finish....

So should I put in a special request to Innova send me about 50 of the Mamba's all in white and then see if I can get Brian Scalabrine to autograph them? lol :)
So it is less stable then the archon
I remember seeing somewhere that the turn rating on the Mamba is a -5, so yeah it will be very understable compared to the Archon. Sounds like Innova decided to make their own Nuke SS.
I'll probably be interested in trying out the Dominator this Spring.
Perhaps the Mamba will be like a faster Roadrunner, will be nice to see - fast and understable is a pretty tough combination to get right and there's a huge use for it out there.
The stats from Innova on these 2 new discs:
Mamba: [11|5|-5|1]
Dominator: [13|5|-1|2]
Mamba is due out at the end of February, the Dominator sometime in the spring.
I found it interesting that Dave Dunipace was also talking about how they were testing out flat top Champion Stingrays and Cobras the past couple of weeks. Those would both I think be a very welcome item in the disc market.
I read the Mamba will be for turnover shots. And read that the Dominator is in between a Katana and a Boss. Which I think I may like. The Boss is a little to big of a rim for me to be comfortable with it, but I throw the hell out of the Katana. Anything open and long. So I will be sure to try that one, waiting anxiously.
