This looks awesome! I wish I lived closer to the Peoria area, but definitely still hope to make a few.
First tourney is coming up at Galesburg - doesn't count for points but it will be fun!
P.S. Trophies are ordered for the series and A-Tier.....they make the Green Jacket look lame!
>>15. Ledgestone Insurance Championships Super Tour – September 14/15th
That's a Friday and Saturday. Is that correct?
QuoteThat's a Friday and Saturday. Is that correct?
That is correct - I don't run Sunday tournaments. Sundays are for Church!

See everyone at the Springfield A-Tier where the points are doubled!
P.S. Updated to reflect ties and the points for ties!
Great first event. Thanks to all involved on making it happen. Central Illinois Disc Golf is going to see a huge growth if this series continues over the course of a few years. There is finally incentive to join the PDGA in terms of playing sanctioned events.
We are already taking registrations for our Super Tour Event in the fall on September 14th/15th. We expect this to fill up at least one month prior to the event as we had that happen last year. This is only an INITIAL estimate based on sponsor money and other fundraisers and tournaments, but it does appear we will be able to add $10,000 cash to the Pro Purse for the Super Tour and have a players pack worth $90 ONE HUNDRED PERCENT DONATED to the AMS without any money coming out of their entry fees. If you want to sign up shoot me an email and you can get a check mailed to me. Online registration will be up soon.
I plan on playing. How many pools? How many total players? Which courses will we play.

man, I wish those unsanctioned didn't count towards series points. I can't make the Cherry Fest due to a wedding.
Oh well, maybe it's in Pastores head now that I can beat him, give him something to think about before our next matchup. still going to be hard to surpass him, giving him free points. Hope no other Masters show up and he plays Open ;D
I just signed up for the Ledgestone Insurance Championships Super Tour – September 14/15th

We added a third course. MPO will still only play Morton/McNaughton.
Maximum amount of players is 252. MPO is limited to 72 and they will have the courses to themselves and the other two courses at any time will have 90 players.
Series points have been reflected to show the results from the Cherry Festival tournament. We will also have the running totals up tonight as well and I went ahead and corrected the Canton doubles tournament to be on Saturday, August 18th.
We are also excited to announce that we have raised an additional $2500 for the series via the additions of new sponsors over the last two days. We are happy to announce that ABC Discs is on board as a sponsor for the series! Thanks to Dan Pastore and ABC Discs. Because of Dan's involvement we have added one more tournament to the series and we will be announcing that shortly. Also a big thanks to the Village of Morton for stepping up in a big way and giving the LIS series a nice grant. Also, thanks to Erie Insurance for stepping up their contribution to the series. We have also added World of Vitamins as a sponsor.

Tight battles remain in Advanced Women (Christy Fraticola and Colleen Thompson are tied), Men's Recreation, Men's Intermediate, Pro Masters and Men's Pro.
The Men's Pro division will be very interesting, as it looks like it will come down to the A Tier with Dana, Nate Yemm, and Steve Slater battling it out for the big prize. Pro Masters is an all out duel between Doug Payne and Dan Pastore. That division looks like it will come down to the end as well. Those two have been competing on the course and on Facebook!
We will also officially have a Novice Payout for the series, as it looks to be a battle between Chris Wentworth and Tim Cerven. Both are signed up for this weekend and both will probably be playing the A Tier. Mark Harston looks to be have an insurmountable lead in Advanced Senior Grandmasters!
If you want your points there are a few events left before the A Tier, including the 8/25 event at Washington this weekend, the Pekin Double Weekend (Popcorn Glo Tournament 8/31 and ABC Discs Open 9/1), and then the Bradley event on 9/8.
The Men's Intermediate looks to be a huge battle, with seven people still in the ball game. Men's Recreation will be a tight battle as well with a lot of people still in it. All of the events will be key coming down the stretch to win the Ledgestone Cup!
Here are the final breakdowns for the spots that will receive a payout/plaque or cup:

As a note, we'd like to apologize for the confusion with the Series payout. After discussing this and looking at what was posted, we have amended the payouts to reflect the original post in February with the higher guarantees listed on the BN Forums. It was a mistake on my part and I apologize for the confusion. All posts should be reflected to update the payout confusion. It did only affect three places - MA1 first place, MA2 first place, and MPO second place.

Feel free to check out the series rules if there is any confusion about the number of tournaments required, points for the A Tier, etc.
There are a lot of undecided battles, including the MPO battle between Steve Slater and Nate Yemm. The points are 274 to 273 in Steve's favor, with Dana lurking at 200 points. Its going to be a battle!
Battles are still going on in MPM, MA2, MA3, and others. We will be doing the Series Awards and Payout on Saturday afternoon at Morton. If you aren't playing come on out and support the finale!
