Title: New Discs
Post by: jason on March 28, 2002, 10:44:07 AM
I'm looking for some suggestions on new discs to try.  So far, I've had the best luck throwing a cheetah.  I've tried several long distance drivers such as the reaper with little luck.  After only playing for 6 months, I think I need to try a more stable disc.  Any suggestions on some new stable discs to try out?

Wow! just yesterday I was checking out disclife.com and they had an article that addressed this exact issue. it said that beginner players usually want a stable disc, then as they throw more they typically want an understable disc (and they list some brand names and models). The harder the throw and the more spin that is on the disc, the more likely it is to "turn-over". So these guys who throw really hard, use an understable disc, but because they throw hard it actually flys straight for them. That's just what I read.

I said "understable", I meant to say "overstable" - it turns left with a right back-hand throw. Sorry.
