Title: Hey Bruce!
Post by: Jon Brakel on September 19, 2003, 01:32:27 PM
Just testing the new board features...

If you use aliceblue as your font color you can do secret messages...that is if the formatting is working correctly!!! Make sure you close all your tags.

This whole thread seems fishy.

I'm not sure how to do the coding here but I'll take a stab at it.  Is this trick easily ruined by someone changing their message board skin?  I have not found where you select skins bu I know it is possible

Mmmmm, caviar.

Mmm... fish

Yes, bruce. Different skins cause the board to show up with an alternate color scheme. You access it thru the My Controls link at the top of the board. Right now there's no skin that really defeats the invisible ink but its possible that Jay and I might install/develop one that does.

Just so you know.

hmmmm  these text codes seem, um,  not too accurate.?.

Actually, the code is quite accurate. The problem lies in your forgetting to close the tag!
If you use text other text

Then you have to terminate both sets of and tags with a

Same prob. you were having with your sig.

I'm just checking to see if my avatar is resident on your computer now or if your computer has to find it on my computer.  I'm using a different computer where I think it has a different name and address.   I'm not typing anything of interest in nearly invisible ink.  But I did notice that every other message has a slightly different hue and the invisible ink is barely visible on the one hue.  Does that hue have a color name?
