Title: USADGC
Post by: Bruce Brakel on May 15, 2012, 11:03:06 AM
The Southern Michigan Open, A-tier, is the last official qualifier.  It is a 20% qualifier so it will qualify at least 12 based on current pre-reg.  It is not yet full.  The Ponds at Lakeshore is a course for players who throw with good distance and accuracy.  It is long with scattered trees.  Rolling Hills has lots of woods and elevation changes.  It can be brutal from the longs.  Kelsey and I are in, but we might switch to MA2.

The AJ Open may be the last qualifier.  Whether and how many will qualify will not be determined until sometime next week.  It depends on pre-reg for the USADGC.  Kelsey, Diana and I are doing the two-dog lunch at this tournament.  If you've never played Goliath at Mason County, it is trip-worthy.

Both tournaments have about 150 players in right now.

How can the SMO and the AJ Open both be the last qualifier?

Phil has absolute power that way.
