For some reason I thought this was on a Saturday. I phooked up. As much as i'd like to play, I have to run doubles that morning. Bummer. :(
I may not be there either, 1>Cause their is doubles, and 2> I would miss that anyways. I have a wedding to go to in the afternoon. I'm not sure what time I have to leave for it though yet, so who knows
Thank You to everyone that Played.
How many played?
Who won?
Score?
I have a friend from Buffalo Grove who was thinking of going. I'll give him a call today and see if he has any more info.

Was wondering the same....

What are the facts, Jack? This post lacks a lot in the Who, What, When, Where, Why department!

Man, Al, you can be a little
different sometimes, can't you? Well, if your turnout was low, don't be discouraged. My brother and my first event had 8 people turn out and 4 of those had a last name of Brakel! It was only about a year later that we held a Friday doubles event and had 86 in attendence. If you want to know the secret, e-mail me.

let this
board die?!? or let this
thread die?
Face it, players that have played sanctioned events & local tourneys modeled after the PDGA way expect to see results from a tournament.
Mostly they're interested in who played and how the scores were....
How did the classified participants receive your course?
I was just wondering who won that big $100.00. I think all of us would have played if it were not schedule during doubles.

I know I would have. Even though I don't like the courses current format, I would have liked to support your efforts. But I didn't want to miss another league at Bevier to do it.
c'mon Al, tell us how it went!
inquiring discers want to know!
He could tell you, but then he'd have to kill you! :P
We had eight people? Wow, I did not realize we had so many! I still have the third place overall trophy plaque in my desk drawer!
Don't be discouraged by low attendance Al. But don't be giving away any hard won secrets Jon!
All Right.
The "Turnout" was low.
It almost was not a turnout at all. An avid Disc Player from Buffalo Grove was the only player to show. He has a bag of discs to make any player trade his even up anyday. We Shot the course, Then Improvised some. It was a great Morning so didnt want to waste it.
No Official Winner
Sorry Your right "The Thread" Thanks Mirth.
Bruce, I think the correct way to say it is:
"We had eaten people".
:P
