Brett, what's on the agenda? I'd much rather play Lemon Lake than sit around arguing about league and tournament format details.
oops, thanks for pointing out I had the permissions set incorrectly on this forum....
Oh, so now I get the Kevin McCoy treatment? :D
kevin mccoy?
No, it was decided a long time ago that this particular board would be the offical voice of the club, hence its name... It was an oversight on my part that you were able to create a new thread, not being a club officer and all.
naw, Bruce is more like DiscGolfDude B)
...[Triumph the Insult Dog voice] I kid, I kid.... [/Triumph the Insult Dog voice]
Oh, is this some kinda reference to the pdga boards?
yeah but if you guys play the pdga mess board game, i get to be rhett!

I will be playing Homie's Fall Classic & will not be attending.
We can either
1. Have someone else volunteer to run the meeting & go on as planned.
2. Reschedule the meeting to another Sunday this month.
3. Just skip the October Meeting & wait until November.
Any preferences?
/me awakens from the abyss...
I would prefer to either reschedule or just wait until next month. This will greatly increasemy chanced of my attending. If someone else runs it and it's next weekend I won't be there.
And on a side note I would like to appologize for my lack of particiaption in all things club related as of lately. Life isn't at it's easiest and I am trying to get some things in order.
Thanks guys
skipping is fine by me
Personally, maybe skipping this monthes meeting might not be a bad thing. Seem everyone is burn't out & this may give us time to relax.
I'm fine with either. Or we could meet at the Cedar Lake, Indiana, Dairy Queen late Sunday afternoon....
as a disccontium club member
i might actually get to make that meeting
I think with only one of 4 club officers definately able to make the meeting I say either reschedule or skip. There's no urgent new business on the agenda.
Cancelled
Next club meeting will be held in November
cool by me, even though it would be great to see mike w again!
depending on my possible back surgery, i might not be attending anything for a while. updates to come as available....
Jim,
I think Mike W was referring that he could make the club meeting at the DQ in Cedar Lake Indiana that Bruce mentioned. It was a joke.
that is correct
i will be in cedar lake this weekend
i will be attempting to scout the extra holes (if they are marked off)
late saturday
ill be playing am
my buddy will be playing novice (his first T)
lets hope the weather holds up
a couple years ago there was a tundra bowl
set up here as a temp course lots of snow sleet rain
im ready for adverse conditions
im prepared to use el nino as an excuse
for any bad round
lol
so no meeting until november?
i'd like to get the ball rolling before that, at least for determining the 2004 schedule parameters.......
I think the 2004 schedule concept was laid out at my house ~2 months ago. Perhaps not concrete dates, but the events were conceptualized.
I know that Brett is working/completed the 2004 best shot schedule.
yeah i cannot find my notes
for tourneys, was it something like
ice bowl - feb
twin lakes grand opening - april
hpc memorial = gateway Am event - may/june
no widdershins
IL Open - august, but later in the month
blast - september
safari = Illinois tour = maybe
i think that's close, but i've been wrong before
I believe the widdershins is still happening, but as the gateway am event.
I thought that the HPC was going to be a C-tier?
been wrong in the past too.....
Here is the schedule of 2004 Best Shot.
Right now the IL Open is tentatively scheduled with the PDGA for July. August is locked up or locked out except for the date that we had this year which is not usable next year due to Pro/Am combined Worlds in Iowa.
