Title: Dr Dye
Post by: D on October 26, 2003, 09:08:57 PM
Was trying to make a design in photoshop for Mr. Dr. Dye because he's working on a disc for me...

Well I couldn't come up with one I was looking for, but with some easy line distortions I got some other cool designs he might find usefull..

(*sorry about the size forum mods)

Pretty sweet!  The one on the right definitely looks like a Rhyno.. .probably a Champ rhyno?  The one on the left I'm just guessing is a beast since that's what your punisher was.  It could be a wraith though since I see a slight ridge in that flight plate.

What were the original colors on the discs?

Thanks guys, glad you like them ;D

Both are rhynos, one star the other champ.  The star was white, champ was ice.

You can't beat the Dr.!

Everyone who has seen these so far is wanting to get something dyed from Joe, & I can't blame them.

duh... duh duh... duh duh... I guess I was thrown off by the angle or something because the thumbtrac on the one on the star (left) made it look more like a driver that has the elevated flight plate (eg. pulse, wraith, teerex, whippet)  If I had thought about it longer I would have realized that it was also a Rhyno!

Although I would like to know how the Rhyno is star plastic unless they did a special run because I haven't seen those out yet.

--checks eBay-- looks like the did some star Rhyno's for the Homie.  Hopefully Innova will release standard star rhyno's by the end of the year!

Scott, you can also find them on discgolfvalues.com. I unfortunatley found them there after I traded a SE Rhyno for a Star....

Ain't that the way of it?

It is Mike. I've been using a Champ Rhyno for mid-ranges and the Star seems even more stable.

Hey Doc! (or anyone else for that matter)...

How does the ESP plastic dye?  Up for doing a pretty detailed custom dye(white disc, esp)?  Let me know and I'll get the artwork & disc to ya =)  (and the payment as well)
