Nominations for club officers

League Update-> Fall League ends December 14th 2003. Who would like to run Winter League in 2004? The start date would be January 4th, 2004. This position is open for election or will be appointed. Not sure which one.

I'll volunteer to run it. You've done a great job with it this last 12+ months Brett!

Have a good meeting.  I'm already home.  Try not to fight too much about inconsequential details.  Try to remember that we all play disc golf to reduce the amount of stress in our lives, not to increase it.  If it is not fun, you need to re-examine why you are there.

We touched on the 2004 schedule today just briefly, mostly to get opinions on the seasonal tournaments. About all items were talked about except for the pending board questions.
Nominations for 2004 elections will most likely occur in December with the balloting happening either immediately afterwards or the following month.

I'll type up a more formal minutes document & post the PDF tomorrow for all who're interested.

thanks Mirth for doing a largely thankless job; and a big thanks to Brett for the job he's been doing all along.

I'm just generally feeling thankful tonight...  B)

OK, but I was wondering if you'd decided when the Winter League would *end*, e.g. early March or something.

Mirth,
I didn't know if you wanted to stick to the schedule I made or not. If you want it, I will post it or e-mail it to you. It's a work document. Let me know.
Later
Brett

I think Mirth said he was planning on sticking to your schedule. If its a Works document, do a save as and save it as an RTF or something else that the rest of us in the "real world"* can read.

*"real world" is defined as the world in which one has to work during the summer. :)

At the meeting, it seems we rushed past the issue of hosting a 2004 Safari Series.
I think we've given up trying to push through a 2004 Illinois Tour, but I do not remember putting the definitive hammer down on Safari either way.

Strong feelings pro OR con?

Volunteers to coordinate and run it?

Thats most likely your largest con right there....

Maybe we can use our 4 or 5 planned tourneys for 2004 to develop an overall ratings base to be employed in future seasons?
